本課程培養學生下列知能：

此課程的目的主要在於幫助學生提升中英文的翻譯實務，過程中強化單字背誦能力，句型能力，文法能力，中譯英與英譯中的實力。 1. Students will understand the basic translation theories, principles and techniques. 2.Students will learn to use different types of web resources to solve their translation problems. 3.Students will learn to reflect on their problem-solving and decision-making process The initial priority of this course is to facilitate students to understand etymology (prefix, suffix, and root), grammatology, and syntax. After all these trainings, students can be given advanced theory of translation.

每週授課主題： 於第1週宣導學生使用正版教科書，並於教學過程中適時提醒或制止學生使用不法影印教科書。
